GENEVA NEEDS YOU!!

But do you need Geneva?

Don't answer that.

Actually, Geneva already has a band for this year's
4th of July parade and picnic, consisting of brass,
woodwind, and percussion sections, but it's not quite full yet.
The total so far: one sousaphone, one saxophone, and one
set of  marching bells.  There's also a "tentative promise(?)"
that Gunga Dad will bring the historic World's Worst
Marching Band water wagon with broken wheel, as in
the good old days.  Maybe Mrs. Gunga will play cymbals.

This will be GGGAMB's 9th Performance Season!

A Geneva Band 4th of July is lots of fun (it says here) and now is your chance to continue
this great tradition, so sign up soon before all the positions are filled.  It's FREE!  Once
membership reaches 100, registration will close.  NO EXCEPTIONS!  DON'T BE LEFT
OUT.  Send an e-mail at the link below.

You all know the drill (so here it is again): Rehearsal at 9 AM on the 4th of July, march
in the parade at 10:30, play the National Anthem at about 11:30 at the Geneva Community
Center, followed by our 15-minute concert of patriotic music.  Then eat your free hot dog
or hamburger and go home.  Or, hang around to enjoy the occasion with friends, play the
games, or visit the fascinating Museum of Geneva History next door.

We promise a day to remember.  But if not, we'll remind you same time next year.

Hope to hear from everyone with a yes, no, or maybe.
And be sure to invite your friends!

Thank you!

Richard
